Peru Wonder Travel has always believed that we should “give back” to the communities we pass through when on our treks. Therefore, as part of our commitment to responsible tourism we begin in a range of different projects like health campaigns, supporting a school and donating for specific items.
On 2014 we’ve been part of a mission carried out by LEGEND TREKS “Born to Serve”, specifically in the Sacred Valley villages, this is. Legend Treks team members have opportunities to work in “Vision and Hope Eye Clinics” which provide free eye care to villagers isolated. Many of these villagers have never received modern eye care, including eye glasses, quality medications and surgical interventions. Many thanks to LEGEND TREKS for inviting us and being part of this mission.
