Peru Wonder Travel rejects the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (CSEC)

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) actively works to eradicate Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (CSEC) in the tourism sector in Peru.

This form of violence seriously violates the rights of children and adolescents and, unfortunately, is often tolerated or overlooked by society.

At Peru Wonder Travel, we are committed to fighting this issue and fully support the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents against CSEC.

Legal Framework

There are several laws that criminalize these offenses, and we strictly comply with them:

  • Law No. 29403 – General Tourism Law, and its regulations approved by Supreme Decree No. 003-2010-MINCETUR.
  • Law No. 30963, which amends the Criminal Code to impose harsher penalties for sexual exploitation crimes, especially those affecting minors and women.
  • Law No. 30802, which establishes measures to ensure the safe entry of children and adolescents into lodging establishments, protecting their integrity.

Your report can make a difference

If you are aware of any case of sexual exploitation involving persons under 18 years of age, report it immediately. Your action can save lives and protect those who need it most.

In our agency, we do not allow or promote any act of sexual exploitation or related crimes. We act in strict compliance with Law No. 29408, promoting safe, responsible, and respectful tourism.

Sincerely,
Peru Wonder Travel
