Colca Canyon 1 Day

Between 03:00 and 03:30 we will pick you up from your hotel and departure by bus on our excursion towards the Colca Canyon. After a 4 hours of journey, we will go directly to the Condors’ Cross, only stopping in Chivay to have breakfast. At 08:30am, we will arrive to the Cross where we will appreciate the impressive panorama of one of the deepest canyon in the world and the great Andean bird, the condor that may be spotted flying in circles. In the way back to Chivay, we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque which have colonial churches. We will also stop in Antahuilque and Choquetico view points from where we will appreciate tombs and pre-Inca terraces.
At 12:00 we will arrive to Chivay to visit the hot springs and then we will have time for lunch.
In the way back to Arequipa, we will stop in Patapampa which is a natural view point where you will see the Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca volcanoes and also is the highest point that we will reach 4,800mts), in the marshes where we will be able to see variety of birds species and in Pampa Cañahuas, habitat of herds of vicuñas.
At 18:00 we will arrive to Arequipa.
